Fatastic!
Our Chihuahua has a liver condition called microvascular displaysia of the liver and he's on special food with lower protein that's easier for his liver to process. So I've been searching for low protein or no protein options for him since he LOVES to chew. He enjoys chewing on these. However, I ALWAYS supervise him while he's chewing. The manufacturer claims that only small "rice grain" sized pieces are broken off during chewing, but that's just not true. Our dog chewed off a dime sized piece that I luckily was able to take away from him before he could swallow it. So please use caution when letting your dog chew these!
Best ever treat
Bought these to replace ones my yorkie destroyed. I've always stuck with nylabone brand as I believe they are good quality. Some of them have been not so great, but for the most part, these, the keys and the wishbone have outlasted any other chew toys she's had! I would recommend these, but then again I have small dogs so I can't say how they'd hold up to bigger jaws (she has tiny little sharp teeth-as shown in pic). My only complaint would be the color, I wasn't thinking about that and given that she leaves them lying on the wood floor wherever she likes, I've nearly rolled my ankle more than a few times when I've had my slippers on! Lol other than that, I highly recommend these and will buy them again when needed! I included pics of the keys to show the damage done after nearly a full year, as well as the two new ones after a few days.
